Beulah, Print Me A Steak--No Kidding; MeaTech Has Done It

"With A Tap, Kvar Fails Stealth Training," by Herr D on heromachine.com. Kvar's tester is  not as obvious as Herr D's suggestions to the FDA. Perhaps they were not quoted correctly? -Shelob

What do you mean, they DID it? News reported success on 2/9. [provides link]

[eleven minutes 12.883 seconds pass] They DID. They're 3D printing STEAKS, now. The difficulties they speak of are confusing.

Yeah, they're just confused. They said they 'don't have the framework' to decide how to deal with it in the FDA or whatever. They're wrong. You have solved this problem?

It's not a problem. It doesn't NEED a solution. They can already apply all the tests and panels and judges and auditors and taste-testing rats and whatever else to each substance anyone wants to pass through the 3D printer. That would successfully rate the substances.

Well, like it or not, the 3D printer is just another food processor. It processes food. Let them test the product result against the source and against 'real' steaks till they're satisfied that the chemical differences are nil or 'within safe margins.' They do that all the time. Then why DO they not think they "have the framework?"

They're probably afraid they can't read the instructions. Are they not allowed translators?

They're not allowed kids. Goat meat has been approved for human consumption.

GoodBYE, Shelob. [exits]
